

Why Pick Brontë Bistro?
What a wonderful gift to give your guests – the comfort of a private room surrounded by an ocean of books, music, and gifts. Our staff is committed to making your event a hassle-free, enjoyable occasion. We are also happy to coordinate a private book presentation with one of our expert booksellers. All Brontë Bistro food is available for off-site catering as well.
Banquet Room Capacity and Fees
Depending on the type of event you are hosting, the private room has varying capacities. For a seated meal, we generally recommend no more than 30 people, however based on room configurations and the type of event you are hosting that number could be more or less. If you have interest, please call us and we can determine how best to accommodate your group.
Our room fee is $25.00/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
Menu Selections
Based on our experience we have certain parameters under which we like to operate in order to best serve you. We ask that parties of 25 or more have a pre-set menu. We ask that you, as the host, choose the 3-5 menu items which you would like presented to guests on a special menu at least 7 days in advance of your event.

Our menus are not restricted rather they are offered to you for guidance. If there is an item from our regular menu which you would like to offer your guests, please let us know.
Deposits and Contracts
After you have made your menu selections, we will e-mail a contract to you for review. You are welcome to make any changes to that contract up to 7 days prior to the event. We will require a credit card to which we will charge a $100.00 deposit on the day you confirm your contract. If you cancel within 7 days, your full deposit will be refunded. If you cancel within 48 hours you will receive a $50.00 refund on your deposit. The $100.00 deposit will be applied to your final bill. Sales tax and a 20% Service Charge will be added to all final bills.
Payment
Cash, check, or credit card are required at the end of your event, unless other payment arrangements have been made. We ask that one check be presented to the host. However, we are able to accommodate separate checks we just ask that you allow your server enough time to prepare, issues, collect and pay out those separate checks.
Outside Food or Beverages & Non-Food Events
Due to Health Code restrictions, we are not able to allow you to bring in food or beverages from outside vendors. If you wish to rent the Banquet room and do not wish to serve food and beverage, you may rent the room at an hourly rate of $25.00/hour with a minimum of a 2 hour window.
